but did you also spot the 700 zip-ties?

After exploring traditional weaving techniques, in this case coiling, Rein reimagined the craft using non-traditional materials. This pouf is handcrafted by shaping a vacuum hose into a large coil, secured with zip-ties in a precise rhythm.
The result is a colorful, modern seating object that keeps an ancient tradition alive in a bold new way
