Fringe Light

The idea sparked while I was cutting up a leftover plastic sheet. We started with squares, added a few triangles, and then discovered that my favorite paracord ran perfectly through the channels. Cord stoppers gave the whole piece its structure and turned out to be a perfect match with my dots cord too.

I’ll be making this light on request > shop Fringe Light

More info for the geeks: built from 18 squares and 8 triangles, this light is a Rhombicuboctahedron, first named by Johannes Kepler in 1618. But the Rhombi' already had earlier affairs with Luca Pacioli, and Leonardo da Vinci (who actually made a mistake drawing it)
